Expecting Snow & A Busy Weekend

To answer ALOT of your questions about my previous post and not including any pictures.... well, my batteries are dead and I have no more until tonight when I can get to the store. I go through so many batteries and well DH tends to freak out since I take so many pictures and use so many batteries. The bad thing about my camera is that it only takes lithium batteries and for 4 of them it costs $10.00 so it can tend to get expensive especially when I am obsessed with my son and taking pictures of him (lol). I guess I just feel like I have to take pictures constantly since he is growing up so fast right before my eyes. Anyway, he does put his friends down his clothes everyday so when I see him do it again.... I will snap a picture and post it for you to see. He is indeed a hoot.
So, this weekend is going to be pretty busy. Cameron's b-day party is on Saturday and I am still going to try to decorate that Mickey Mouse Cake. I hope it turns out ok. I am quite nervous to say the least, but I will be sure to take pics as long as you all don't make fun of it if it looks bad (lol). We have grocery shopping to do tomorrow, Shawn and I were going to try to go to Olive Garden for lunch since we had a gift card and then Cameron's party is at 4 pm. Some friends of ours from church invited us to come over for game night. That should be fun to play some games and enjoy their company. I also have to figure out a little something that I could take with me food wise so perhaps I need to think about that today. So, all and all it is a busy weekend and it is suppose to snow. I am hoping that the snow misses us this time just because we have so much planned. The good thing is that Cameron is going to spend the night tonight with his Grammy and Grampy so hopefully we can get ALOT accomplished tomorrow before they bring him back for his party.
I have to straighten the house up a little bit more today and get some laundry done so I probably better get off here and get busy. Hope you all have a wonderful FRIDAY and I will be sure to post pictures soon.

Can you use re-chargable batteries in your camera? You can get the batteries and dock for under $20.00.
I can not wait to see pix from Cameron's party. He is going to LOVE it.
Enjoy the rest of your busy weekend. Olive Garden has a new dish I want to try. (yummy)

what laugh at you nawh!
Your pretty creative, the cake should turn out nice.
I know I have rechargable bat for my camera and they die just when I want them the most! I like the new technology but I miss the old cameras that you can turn on and they work when you need them.
Have a great party!
Relax!! after wards!!
Hugs~

Tomorrow is Lukas's bday party as well (today is his real bday) and I am so nervous because we are having kids over and such and I hope his party is fun. Plus I am decorating his train cake today and my practice cake didn't turn out how I wanted and I really want it to be cute. So I share in your nervousness. You are WAY more creative then me and crafty ect so I am sure yours will turn out MUCH better then mine.

Did you say snow? Let me tell you girl, we are going to get 6 inches tonight and 10 inches tomorrow. The snow has been falling all day and is going to continue to come down all night and tomorrow too. We will still have beautiful piles when you come up next weekend. :)

You do such a good job of keeping up with taking pictures of Cameron. I know how costly those batteries can be. Maybe, like Kelley said, you could use the rechargeable ones?

Glad to hear that you are going to have such a fun weekend! You certainly deserve it. :) What a nice treat it will be to have some time to spend with just each other. :)

The cake will be beautiful. You are very talented and there is no way that any of us would laugh at it anyways. I will look forward to seeing the pictures. :)

Thanks for all of the pep talk, I was able to get some stuff done around the house today. Maybe it is because I know that I have some very special people coming up this next weekend. :) What joy and excitement fill our house!!!!!!!

I got Lukas's jammies at Gymboree. They were on sale for seven dollars so pretty cheap at least to me. He is obssessed with them and always asks if he can wear his choo choo jammies. He loves trains right now.

Sounds like a busy weekend for you. Can't wait to see photos of the cake. We're getting snow too. (supposedly). I never believe the forecast anymore. Seeing is believing.
