A Boy & His Boots

Gotta love seeing a cute little boy walking around in his boots. My in-laws bought Cameron some rubber gum boots during the fall. They were intended for camping, but he loves to wear them around the house and if they aren't dirty on the bottom, then I let him do it. I was in the process of getting him ready for a bath the other night and he grabbed his boots and wouldn't put them down. He just finished his dinner (spaghetti) and his face was all stained from the spaghetti sauce so I thought it would be perfect to just stick him in the tub. Well, he wanted to cruise around the house in his onesie and his boots for a little while and I let him while I was cleaning up the kitchen. Well, he put one boot on and then tried his best to get the other on, but just couldn't keep his balance long enough to get his other foot in. He is going through this stage where he wants to do everything by himself so he didn't want my help. So, he walked around with one boot on, one sock on and his onesie for about 15 minutes. I had to snap a few pictures because I thought he looked too cute. He stood at the back door looking out at the snow and turned to me and said "go outside Mommy?" I had to laugh because he would have frozen his tushie off if he would've gone out that way. It is funny because kids don't realize that.... all they care about is going outside to play.
