Starting a Collection on the TV

Does your child or children have toys that make lots of noise and drive you crazy? Well, these 2 toys sit on top of the tv right now away from little man and his busy fingers. Why? Because these toys are driving me crazy!! I am sure if you have been to McDonalds lately then your child or children have received these and you are enjoying the wonderful noise as well. You are probably asking WHY I have not turned them off and then given them to Cameron?!? Well, my child is way too intelligent. I have tried turning them off and giving them back however he turns it back on and continues to bang the toy up against something and all I am hearing is " What we gonna do" , "Ow Ow Ow", and "I really need a doctor" from Mr. Giraffe and the good ole Lion says "You Got It" and 2 other sayings that I can't seem to understand. Anyway, when there are noisy toys that tend to drive you crazy then you have to do anything to give yourself some sanity. So, for right now Mr. Giraffe and Mr. Lion will stay up on top of the tv until I gain some sanity back and then they can return to their wonderful homes...... Mr. Busy Fingers and his hands!! So, are any of you dealing with these wonderful toys? If not these toys then feel free to share what toys drive you completely nutty. I know that I am not the "ONLY" parent out there that hides noisy toys or puts them up away from other busy fingers. Go Ahead and share because I am anxious to hear!!

My kids have gotten some of those but I don't remember them making noise. Umm...wonder why? Maybe because they are so loud to start with(the kids). That I can't hear anything else. MY inlaws love buying my kids things with lots of noise.

Lukas has the hippo and it says I am every Hippos dream. It is sort of annoying. Toys with noise don't bother me too much though.

If they are 'junky' toys, I go ahead and throw them in the trash after my child is in bed. She's going through a phase where she likes to tear pages out of coloring books and pads and stuff and I throw all that stuff away too. Maybe I'm just fussy, but I truly do not want to deal with all that. ;)

I'm one of those mean moms that doesn't by Happy Meals. I guess because we have so many mouths to feed, we always opt for the dollar menu instead. :) And oh, I collect their noisy toys in the trash can. Man, I am mean!

Hi Lisa, Thanks for stopping by my blog. I've actually visited yours a few times and read about your IVF journey and little miracle. I had gallbladder surgery too a few years ago. I still think I have phantom pains occasionally. My hubby thinks I'm nuts. :-)
I'm not a noisy toy fan. The kids make enough noise so I definitely hide some of the noisy ones.

LOL! I have a solution for you and the aggravating talking toys from McDonalds. Turn them into BATH toys. I let my son take these into the bathtub to play, which he gets a kick out of. The tradeoff for me is that the water kills the electronics inside, so no more "yakky, yakky". :)

My moisy toy is my son. Does that count? None of his toys are as loud as he is. All we hear all day is "Choo choo" or "woo woo". At the top of his little lungs while he plays with his trains or while he is zooming through the house on his fire truck.

Owen has the Leap Frog Frig DJ and he plays it over and over, but I'm so used to it now. He did get a yoda toy from MCD's and he says, "May the force be will you!" and it drives me absolutely batty!!! I think MCD's does that on purpose!

I don't think my kids even know they get a toy with a happy meal.. I am so mean. We have so much junk, I just can't phathom adding more sometimes. I usually dole out the food and hide the toys. If they are good one's I keep them and bring them out in an emergency, like while shopping or on a long car ride....
